Font licensing can be tricky. We believe that licensing should be simple and valuable to everyone involved, so we've done our best to make it less of a hassle. By licensing our fonts, you have read, understood, and agreed to the End User License Agreement.

Commercial License

Our commercial licenses are based on Company Size (employee count, including temporary staff). No more worrying about a million separate metrics, we're making this as easy to follow as possible. We don’t charge for additional use cases like web and app. Everything will be accounted for in one Commercial License, here’s what it covers, no other metric limitations:

Personal License (Non-Commercial)

Non-commercial (Personal) licenses are priced at a fixed rate for individuals and are suitable for personal projects, student work, and client proposals. However, they cannot be used for commercial purposes. If you have any questions about which license is best for you, please contact us at hello@doublestory.ink.

Social Media Usage

With a Personal License, you can use our fonts on your social media for personal posts. However, you MUST attribute the font used in your post to Double Story Type, the name of the typeface used, and include a compliment in the caption.

Trial Fonts

Try our fonts for free! Non-commercial trial licenses are available for testing and trial purposes, but do not include all the rights of a Personal License. To request a Trial license, please email us at hello@doublestory.ink. We understand that fonts can be costly, so we offer a trial option to help you decide if it's the right fit.

Discounts, Non-Profits & Good Causes

If you're a non-profit, you may be eligible for discounted licensing of our fonts. Please contact us at hello@doublestory.ink to discuss further. If you plan to use our fonts for a social, environmental, or sustainable cause, we'll work with you to get a font for your project. Please provide us with more information about your cause in an email.

Disclaimer

If you plan to use our fonts in a context that is bigoted, racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or discriminatory in any way, you immediately revoke your license and plans to use our fonts. We will not reimburse you for any of these breaches in context. In other words, you won't get your money back for being a jerk.
